Bloomsbury Fashion Photography Archive showcases over 700,000 high-quality images presenting forty years of contemporary fashion history along with a timeline, designer biographies, and fashion articles.

Bloomsbury Fashion Video Archive exhibits almost 3,000 fashion shows presented in Paris, London, New York, and Milan by 460 international designers, and covers the period 1979 to 2003. Each video features extensive indexing and captioning to enable search, browse, and enhanced discoverability. The videos are accompanied by scholarly articles that provide context to the collection, shedding light on key shows, the evolution of trends, iconic designers, and the transformation of runway spectacles to performance art. Articles have been curated by Valerie Steele, Director of the Museum at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology), New York.

Coverage is global, consisting of major reference works, key authors, and image collections from leading institutions, such as Ken Albala’s Food Cultures of the World Encyclopedia and the Cambridge World History of Food.
