Explore New Spaces at the Studios Open House
Mark your calendars: on October 3, the University Libraries will offer an interactive showcase of its new collaboration and learning spaces. Highlighting a suite of new library studios—which includes spaces for 3D printing, data visualization, interdisciplinary collaboration, and multimedia production—the event will include self-guided tours, presentations, activities, exhibits, and free snacks and prizes.
Although wide-ranging in focus, the University Libraries’ studios share a collective goal of removing barriers for Virginia Tech students and faculty to push the boundaries of learning and innovation. Whether you are a science major hoping to hone your skills in 3D research simulations, an artist transforming information into art, or part of a group of undergraduate researchers aiming to solve real-world problems, the studios have something for you. Come explore new spaces and technologies, meet our expert staff, and discover how the University Libraries can help empower your work and play. Everyone is welcome–simply check your expectations about libraries at the door! No registration necessary.
