Lincoln in Our Time Exhibit | Video Showcase

April 14, 2015 marks the 150th anniversary of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. As the Civil War entered its final days, this first presidential assassination in U.S. history sent shockwaves through the nation and around the globe.

From letters and diaries, to fabric from Lincoln’s coffin, to videos produced by students in HIST 2984, “Abraham Lincoln: The Man, the Myth, the Legend,” this exhibit puts a spotlight on the reaction to Lincoln’s assassination and the enduring impact of the legacy he left on future generations.
